Every day at 18:00 UTC, at the same moment worldwide. Uncleared mushrooms respawn and their type and size are randomized again.
About 5 minutes, in the same place, with a newly randomized type — so the same Wayspot can show different mushrooms during one day.
Each player can join at most 3 mushroom battles per day. The counter resets at local midnight.
It depends on size: 25 for Small, 30 for Normal, 35 for Large and 40 for Giant. Without a Mushroom Recharge Ticket only 5 players can join at first.
An item that calls in more players for the same mushroom battle, lifting the initial player cap. It can be used up to 3 times per day during events.
Special mushrooms are color-locked: Fire needs Red, Water needs Blue, Electric needs Yellow, Poison needs White and Crystal needs Rock Pikmin. The wrong color deals no damage at all — build a matching squad first.
Every Saturday and Sunday, all day from 00:00 to 23:59 local time. They do not appear on weekdays. Up to 40 players can join and they contain a rare Mystery Box.
On fixed Wayspots — the same landmarks that grow Big Flowers. The same set of locations produces mushrooms over and over; only the type changes at each reset.
