What Choo Chiang does

Choo Chiang Holdings Ltd. (the “Company”) and its subsidiaries (collectively, the “Group”) is one of the leading retailers and distributors of electrical products and accessories in Singapore, having had a retail presence of more than 20 years in Singapore.

The Group is principally engaged in the retail, distribution and supply of an extensive range of electrical products and accessories through its retail branches which are strategically located across different parts of Singapore. Besides third party brand electrical products and accessories, the Group also carries its own range of “CCM” and “CRM” brand of electrical products and accessories, manufactured by third party contract manufacturers on the Group’s behalf based on its specifications and/or on an OEM basis.

The Group has a wide customer base in Singapore which primarily comprises electrical contractors, interior designers and walk-in customers at its retail branches. The Group’s sales are carried out directly at the retail branches or based on orders received from customers.

In addition, the Group from time to time acquires, disposes and holds commercial and industrial properties for investment purposes.

About Choo Chiang annual reports

Where can I download Choo Chiang (42E) annual reports?

Every year in the table above links straight to the PDF filed with the Singapore Exchange (SGX). 11 annual reports are indexed, covering 2015 to 2025.

Do Singapore listed companies publish quarterly reports?

Mostly not. SGX removed mandatory quarterly reporting in 2020 in favour of a risk-based regime — only issuers meeting certain criteria still have to file quarterly. Most companies therefore publish just a half-year report and an annual report. The small number of quarterly filings indexed here reflects the rules, not missing data.

What is a sustainability report?

Since 2016 SGX has required listed issuers to publish a sustainability report covering environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters. It is a separate document from the annual report; both are indexed here.

What is the difference between the Mainboard and Catalist?

Catalist has lower entry requirements and targets smaller, growing companies, supervised through a sponsor regime; the Mainboard sets higher profit and market-capitalisation thresholds. Reporting obligations are broadly similar.
